Random term: Endless runner

A game genre where a character automatically moves through a level until they die or complete a goal. Players navigate obstacles with single button presses. Endless runners usually feature procedural level generation and increasing difficulty. Genre examples include: Canabalt Jetpack Joyride Temple Run Dinosaur Game (a hidden game in Google Chrome that’s available when there’s no internet connection)
